Sunday, December 7, 2008:
- 70’s Fever (History, 8/7c, two-hour special)
- The Librarian 3: Curse of the Judas Chalice (TNT, 8/7c, original telefilm)-Join Flynn Carson in his third and final adventure as the Librarian as he searches for Judas’ Chalice which has the magical ability to return the dead to the world of the living as vampires. While it isn’t the best film ever it is still one of the best telefilms you will find.
- Front of the Class (CBS, 9/8c, original telefilm)-A Hallmark Hall of Fame film starring Patricia Heaton, Treat Williams, and Jimmy Wolk. The telefilm is a drama based on the true story of Brad Cohen, who was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome at a young age yet still became a gifted teacher.
- House of Saddam (HBO, 9/8c, original mini-series parts 1 & 2 of 4)-The first two parts of a four part mini-series about Saddam Hussein’s family.
- Rich Bride, Poor Bride (WE, 9/8c, 3rd season premiere)
- Leverage (TNT, 10/9c, series premiere)-I enjoyed every minute of the first two episodes of this original drama. The show is very fun, original, and even kind of funny. It is already my favorite new show of the season. For a much more in-depth look as to why, check out my review.
Monday, December 8, 2008:
- Top Gear (BBC America, 8/7c, 11th season premiere)
- Boston Legal (ABC, 9/8c, two-hour series finale)-This has never been one of my favorite shows but I’ve watched most of the episodes and enjoyed myself (I fell behind this season and will have to wait for the DVD to watch the final season). It definitely deserved more than five seasons but unfortunately ABC thought otherwise.
Tuesday, December 9, 2008:
- Manhunters: Fugitive Task Force (A&E, 10/9c, series premiere)-These A&E reality crime shows are getting a bit out of hand. Still, the network thinks yet another one (this time about a group of “manhunters”) will work.
- A Shot at Love (MTV, 10/9c, 3rd season premiere)-No more Tila Tequila but she’s been replaced with bisexual twin sisters. I’ll never watch this show (or anything on MTV really) but I know there are some of you out there that like it as a guilty pleasure.
Wednesday, December 10, 2008:
- Little Spirit: Christmas in New York (NBC, 8/7c, one-hour special)
