This week’s case involves a jockey named Jimmy. Jimmy is the best jockey in the world but he has a drug addiction in order to deal with all the pain he suffers from being a jockey. William decides to take the case since when he was in rehab; he watched some of Jimmy’s races and it helped him through his drug withdrawl. William talks with his wife and she tells him that she knows he is addicted but he needs the drugs to continue racing.
William decides to switch out Jimmy’s pills in order to calm him down before they grab him. William befriends Jimmy in order to watch him. After Jimmy has time to cool down they grab him and take him to rehab. Everything is going fine until Jimmy leaves rehab in order to compete in another race. William tries to talk him out of racing but Jimmy doesn’t listen. Jimmy ends up winning the race but dies after all his injuries mixed with the drugs kill him. Jorge (Jimmy’s apprentice) asks William for his help since he has the same drug addiction. William is happy that he could at least save one person even though he wanted to save Jimmy.
Meanwhile William and Melissa finally get their romance back despite Melissa’s friend telling her to avoid William.
