- Earned her bachelor’s degree in musical theater at Oklahoma City University before moving on to graduate school and earning a masters degree in opera performance.
- Was the second runner-up in the Miss Oklahoma pageant she entered.
- Has released two solo albums, “Let Yourself Go” in 2002 and “As I Am” in 2005. The first was a collection of older songs while the second focused on spiritual songs.
