I really want to know how Smallville has so many creeps and psychos. It seems like the creeps just seem to settle in Smallville. Smallville has enough creeps to fill the world ten times over. The latest creep is a local jewlery store owner who ends up kidnapping his customers and tests their love an honesty by putting them through a torture test. After Chloe and Jimmy’s engagemnet party they become victims of this creep but are released after they show that they are truly meant to be with one another.
Before they are released Clark and Lois try to find them and pose as a married couple. They end up being captured by the man as well because the watchmaker conveniently owns a kryptonite watch (does everyone in Smallville carry around kryptonite these days). I don’t know if it is just me but I wouldn’t carry around part of a meteorite that almost destroyed the town. During their torture test Lois actually admits she loves Clark. Before Clark has to answer the question he ends up breaking out and rescues Lois. Lois tries to deny actually loving Clark and comes up with the lame excuse that she fooled the lie detector.
While the episode was a little too SAWish in my opinion, I still thought it was a decent episode. The episode did remind me quite a bit of the episode where Lionel and Martha were kidnapped and had to play that game. I don’t know if it is just me but I like that the show is really starting to work towards the Lois-Clark relationship. I don’t know why it took this long since everyone knows what happens in the end anyway. I like that the show is finally exploring this angle since it leads to some humor when they both deny that they actually have feelings for one another.
So what are your thoughts on this episode? Do you like that the show is really starting to push the Clark-Lois relationship?

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you could do with some pics to drive the message home a little bit, but instead of that, this is magnificent blog. A fantastic read. I’ll definitely be back.
