Star Gazing

Casey and Max are lying out in a field gazing at the stars when they suddenly kiss. Casey quickly wakes up from her dream but realizes that she actually has a crush on Max. she decides that she can see if he has the same feelings by hiring him to be her astronomy tutor. After one tutor secession Casey tells Ashleigh that she has a crush on Max. Casey has Rusty ask Max if he is interested in Casey and it appears that he is. Rusty sees a girl in one of Max’s photos and Max tells him that it is his girlfriend. Max and Casey end up kissing and this doesn’t please Casey since she thinks she is the other woman. It turns out that the woman in the photo was Max’s girlfriend but she recently died from cancer and it has been hard for him to get over her. Max doesn’t want to pursue another relationship at the moment but he decides to take a chance on Casey.

Active Recognition Test

Rusty and the other pledges have to start studying the other active members of the fraternity since they will be tested on their knowledge of each member. Rusty gets a lot of information on everyone except for a man named Joseph Whopper. Rusty investigates further and finds out that Joseph Whopper always gets A’s in all his classes. Rusty at first thinks Joseph Whopper is Cappie but it turns out to be a computer program that a former member made in order to boost the fraternity’s academic standing so the fraternity isn’t shut down. Everything is going fine until there is a problem with the program. Cappie ends up having to pretend to be Joseph Whopper and take a midterm for a class he has never even attended. The fraternity helps him study and he ends up getting an A on the test. While taking the test (some woman’s history type of class) Cappie realizes that he made a mistake with Rebeca and should have fought harder to keep her. Finally Rusty is tested by the active’s and he passes the active recognition test with flying colors.

The Gentleman’s Club

Michael (Calvin’s boyfriend) is sick of just handing out together. Michael wants Calvin to hang out with other gay men and actually have some gay friends. Michael decides to take Calvin to The Gentleman’s Club (a gay bar). Calvin is nervous about going at first but he ends up enjoying himself and agrees to go with Michael in the future.

Finding a Job

Ashleigh looks for jobs to pay off her credit card bill throughout the episode. She ends up getting a job as a campus tour guide.
