Seven Sisters Inn (Ocala, Florida): The place has two buildings, the purple house has more “dark” activity while the pink is lighter. The place was built on the battlefield of a Seminole war and there have been reports of full-body apparitions, books moving by themselves, a man sitting in a chair, and shadow people.

Jason and Grant start in the purple house. Jason hears footsteps and whispering upstairs in the China room. They stay there for awhile and break out the K2 meter. It lights up but keeps playing with them (they ask it to light it up on the count of three and it lights up on one and two, but not three). They head to the Paris room next and play tunes by knocking on the walls. They ask the entity to finish the tune and it does finish several times (unfortunately viewers couldn’t really hear this very well).

Kris and Tango check out the purple house. Kris hears something upstairs twice. Jason and Grant are still in the purple house, this time in the hallway. Grant hears what he thinks is a snare drum while Jason sees something walk by. The two enter this room and Grant finds an odd K2 hit on a chair. He can trace the outline of a human shape with it but whenever he goes outside that shape, it doesn’t pick anything up. Jason sits in it and does feel cooler. Grant tries it and feels the same way. After this, they can no longer get K2 hits on the chair.

Jason and Grant head to the pink house to test a report that people get tripped on the stairs but are caught by some entity. Jason races up the stairs and sees something dart (around kid height) when he reaches the top. A small child has been reported in this vicinity. To do the run, Jason took off his flip-flops. However, after this short test he can’t find one of them. They spend 30 minutes looking for it and eventually find it in a room that wasn’t even shown to them since it isn’t haunted.

Evidence: The place had a ton of personal experiences but unfortunately nothing (other than some very, very faint knocks in response to Jason and Grant’s tunes) could be backed up with hard evidence.

Renaissance Vinoy Resort (St. Petersburg, Florida): Many baseball players stay here and when they find out they have a room on the fifth floor, they ask for a new room or to double up with another player. The fifth floor is home to a lady in white.

The evidence starts before the investigation even begins. While checking camera angles, the team notices that a closet in Jason’s room on the fifth floor is open. They find out that the ironing board fell down and knocked it open. They try to recreate it but you have to really throw it at the door to get it to open.

Steve and Tango check out the ballroom where there have been reports of footsteps on a wood floor (it is now carpeted). They hear a bunch of noises but realize that it is coming from the ceiling. Since they keep happening they chalk it up to building sounds. The team finds nothing else before heading to their rooms for the night. They all run cameras to pick up any paranormal activity while they are sleeping.

Evidence: While Jason is sleeping in his room (the same room with the ironing board/closet incident), he hears two very distinct and creepy voices. After listening to it again, he thinks the first one is “just leave here.” The second one is inaudible but equally creepy. Grant even compares the sound to something an alien or ogre would make. Jason did look in the bathroom and outside his room but found nothing. As for the ironing board in the closet, it is a neat piece of evidence but TAPS can’t guarantee that it is paranormal.
