TAPS heads to Iron Island Museum in Buffalo, NY. The place was a church for some time before it was switched to a funeral home. The place has all the usual activity plus locked doors that have the tendency to become unlocked. A shadow man and a blue and white figure have been seen. Footsteps and other noises are heard in the rafters of the old church. 33 unclaimed urns were found in the basement, one of which was opened.
Kris and Kristyn kick off the investigation in the main hallway. Nothing happens until Kristyn gives an interview. During the interview, the front door opens and closes. Kris believes she saw something move around the same area. The door had to be opened from the inside since it was locked from the inside and a sheet was placed outside to block out people outside.
Jason and Grant try out the K2 meter in the funeral viewing room. It lights up and even responds to some questions. It keeps getting stronger and eventually goes crazy. The two then hear banging in the rafters area. Grant goes up and sticks his head inside while Steve and Tango enter the viewing room with the EMF detector. They find very high readings on the floor and find out that there is copper wire in the basement, which is obviously the cause of the high readings.
Grant can just barely stick his head into the rafters and can’t even move around in it. The activity stops until Grant is about to come down again. Footsteps are then heard again and Grant heads back up. Noises are heard all over the place and Grant sees the light get blocked out. He then sees the figure coming at him and hears whispers. He gets scared and ducks out of there. Jason goes up and experiences a lot of the same. Grant hears what he thinks is an older woman talking. Jason sees the light get blocked out as well. Jason and Grant send Tango up and he can actually get into the room. However, he doesn’t get any activity. He ends the investigation with some very vulgar words (”I’m glad your (expletive) dead,” etc.). This is quite funny but not very productive.
Evidence: Along with the very solid personal experiences from Kris & Kristyn and Jason & Grant, an interesting video clip and three great EVPs were caught. The video is of a mist that appears and disappears over two minutes. It is very interesting but Jason and Grant think it is just something on the lens. An EVP of “we want…” or “what do you want” was caught just before Grant ducked out of the rafters. The female voice that Grant heard outside the rafters was also picked up. It sounds like the voice said “we just went there.” Finally, Tango got a voice in the rafters as well. In a creepy tone (very similar to the first voice), the entity says “leave me alone.” Jason and Grant have no problem labeling the place haunted.
