Wilmer Valderrama’s Card Trick: After being taught a simple trick by Criss, Wilmer tries his hand at a mindfreak. He asks a woman to cut the deck and leave them separated then touch one of the two stacks. He then has her deal four cards from the top over and over again until she runs out of cards. On each of the four new stacks are Aces. This trick is so easy that I didn’t even need Criss to explain it. All you have to do is make sure the four aces are on the bottom of the deck. It doesn’t matter how the deck is cut. When you ask the person to pick one of the two stacks, you pick the one with the Aces no matter what. If they choose the other one you should say that is the one that is disregarded. If they choose the one with the Aces, you obviously don’t change a thing.
Card/Phone Book Trick: Criss asks a woman to pick one deck of cards from the Mindfreak Store. He then has her pick one card (she picks the King of Clubs), show it to everybody except him, and put it back into the deck. He then asks another woman to pick any number (she chooses 126). Criss then flings a card into the phone book. The card happens to be the King of Clubs and it is in page 126.
Prediction with Sir Richard Branson: Criss does this demonstration with the press looking on. He tells the audience that he had a premonition about Branson a long time ago. He wrote down the state a phone call came from, how many minutes he talked, the number of the person he called, and his or her name. Random audience members are selected and they call out the following: Minnesota, 15 minutes, 731 (first half of phone number), 6789 (second half of phone number). He has Branson name a person he hasn’t talked to in awhile. Branson says Nik (yes it is spelt that way). Another person unlocks Criss’ prediction which has all of the correct information. Nik was even spelt correctly.
Audience Demonstration: Criss tells viewers to think of a number from 1-10 (men should pick an odd number, women just choose an even number). He then “describes” each of the numbers (example-I picked 7 which was “sharp”). After this he lists a few random items and we are supposed to pick the one that are number describes. Mine was the carving knife. He then instructs the viewers to head to CrissAngel.com for the conclusion of the demonstration.
