Criss continues his journey back to his roots with more sleight-of-hand magic.
Earring in Lightbulb: Criss shows Holly and Bridget from “The Girls Next Door” around the Luxor then takes a light bulb from a store since he has a “bright idea.” He then causes a spectator’s earring to get off her ear and into the light bulb.
Business Card Interlock: Criss asks for business cards and tells everyone to fold theirs in half and tear out the center. He then picks the two thinnest and interlocks them without tearing any of the paper.
Fun with Cards: Criss has a woman select a card from a deck then put it back in. He then cuts the deck with his fingers and the same card (the queen of diamonds) is on top. He then puts the queen of diamonds on the hand of another spectator and asks him to name another card. He picks the 5 of hearts. Criss then does his thing and when the card is flipped over, it is now the 5 of hearts. Finally, he has a third spectator touch the back of a card. She is then asked to imagine what she thinks the card is (she says 3 of spades) and Criss puts all the cards pack in the container. He then removes them and shows her that the 3 of spades is the only one face up. Also, it is stuck to the Criss Angel table in Criss’ “hand.” I have a feeling that that card was in “Criss’ hand” all the time since in a later demonstration, Criss performs on, presumably, another table and the card is there as well. The spectator also could have subconsciously seen the card on the table and thus picked it as her card choice.
Close Up Illusion: At the Cat House, Criss has a spectator (Kat) pick one card from a deck and name it (she picked the 10 of spades). He then puts all the cards away and takes another spectator’s deck of cards. He takes all the cards in the first deck out again and reveals that the 10 of spades isn’t there. He then opens the sealed second deck and the 10 of spades is there.
Final Demonstration: Criss stands on a poker table and has spectators cover him with jackets. He then asks them to raise them and drop them and all of a sudden Criss’ little person “bodyguard” Shorty appears out of nowhere.
