Reaction to the Nominations: Jessie thinks its an honor to be nominated three of the four times. Michelle knows Jessie isn’t April’s primary target but worries because pawns usually go home. April doesn’t care that some people in her alliance want Jessie gone. They will do her bidding.
America’s Player: Dan is tasked with hugging Jessie for at least ten seconds. He tells him a sob story about his girlfriend (boy is he a terrible actor) and manages to hug Jessie for over 15 seconds.
Power of Veto Players: Jessie, Memphis, April, Michelle, Libra, and Jerry
Drama: April worries about the veto competition since she basically has to win it for her alliance. Libra takes offense to this and thinks she isn’t being taken seriously. She bitches about April to Keesha and Jessie overhears while taking one of his many naps. Jessie takes this opportunity to go up to April’s HOH room and tell her about them. April talks to Libra again. Libra says that her feelings are hurt (oh no) and she shouldn’t be doubted. Keesha gets furious with April and calls her a bitch several times in front of Michelle. She confronts April as well. Libra tells April that the other side wants them to break down like this. She demands that April reveal who said these “false” things to her. She reveals that it was Jessie.
Jerry somehow gets involved in this mess and tells Libra to shut up. Renny and Libra don’t take this well and get upset with him. All of this fighting happens around a birthday celebration for Keesha (normally I would feel bad for her but since she chose to align herself with such self-centered lunatics I don’t). After singing happy birthday to Keesha, the houes continues to fight. Libra confronts Jessie basically because he took a nap. Jessie is very civil and never raises his voice once. I can’t say the same about crazy Libra. More fights break out and Keesha flips Jessie off twice. She thinks that he needs to leave the house this week.
Veto Competition: The players must use a hockey stick to hit a ball as close to the center of a net as possible. The player furthest away in each round is eliminated but gets a prize that can be stolen by subsequent eliminated players. Memphis doesn’t even get his ball in the net and is eliminated first. His prize is the veto. Michelle is eliminated next and gets a “Hawaiian Holiday.” Jessie is the third out and gets a “slop surprise” which he swaps for Memphis’ veto. April is fourth out and gets $10,000 that can be transferred to other houseguests to secure a vote, nomination, etc. Jerry is the runner-up and gets a letter from home which he trades for Jessie’s veto. Jerry, April, and Libra agree to split the $10,000. Libra wins and gets the infamous red unitard and trades it for Michelle’s trip to Hawaii. She then puts on the most inappropriate smile ever, making me want to reach into my TV and turn it into a frown.
Prize Summary:
- Memphis gets a “slop surprise.” He gets a one-week slop pass and must also put someone on slop for the week. He unsurprisingly picks Jerry.
- Michelle is stuck with the ugly red unitard for a week. She doesn’t take this well at all and asks what kind of mother Libra is to take a trip instead of a letter from her kids (I kind of have to agree with her).
- Jessie gets a letter from home.
- April gets the $10,000 which she will split with Jerry and Libra.
- Jerry gets the power of veto.
- Libra gets the Hawaiian Holiday.
Veto Ceremony: Kiss-ass Jerry obviously doesn’t use the veto.
