Rave: Another great episode of Pushing Daisies last night. Too bad no one is still watching the show (more on this later). While the case wasn’t great it was solid. I also liked the addition of Ned’s twin stepbrothers who just so happen to be magicians. What I really liked about the episode is why I like Pushing Daisies, it’s creativity. It’s too bad more shows on television weren’t as original as Pushing Daisies. How could you not love how Simone ended up commanding Emerson around like he was a dog. Also how could you not like food poker. It would probably be pretty hard to play though if you were extremely hungry. It’s too bad that such charming shows never last long and Pushing Daisies will soon join that group.
Rant: As I already mentioned I am extremely disappointed in the American television audience. I honestly want to know why no one watches Pushing Daisies. So I pose this question to people that don’t watch Pushing Daisies. Why don’t you? It is one of the best and most original shows on television. There really isn’t mush competition in the timeslot so I want to know why people aren’t tuning into the show. Especially this week since it was the only “show” on network tv during the 8/7C timeslot. At this point I am reserved to just enjoying the last couple of episodes of Pushing Daisies since the chance of getting anymore is pretty slim at this point. So Pushing Daisies fans how are you going to deal with the loss of one of the best shows on television.
Rave: Overall last night’s episode of Ghost Hunters was a pretty big surprise in several aspects. First of all Colin Ferguson (from Eureka) joined the team for the episode. Even though it was an obvious promotion for Eureka, I have to say that I wasn’t too bothered with it mostly due to the fact that he actually seemed at least somewhat interested in the hunt and actually knew what he was doing unlike many of the guest ghost hunters (I am looking at you ECW wrestlers). To top that off the team actually found quite a bit of evidence which made the episode very entertaining.
Rant/Rave: I rarely do this but Private Practice is actually getting a rant and rave. This rant and rave is coming from the fact that the practice power struggle appears to finally be over. I don’t know if it is just me but I am SO glad that it is finally over. It was a pretty stupid storyline in my opinion and I am glad that it is over. While I am happy that it is over, the show deserves a rant for making it last as long as it did. I don’t know what is with Private Practice but it is just missing something that Grey’s Anatomy has and I don’t know if the show will ever find what it is missing.
Rave: I don’t know if it was just me but I was totally surprised by last night’s episode of Mythbusters. While I knew from the beginning that the Indiana Jones myth was going to be busted, the escape myth was quite surprising. While I thought there was a good chance that the bedsheet escape rope would work I never imagined that hair and toilet paper would actually work. Surprisingly both could actually be used for an escape rope even though I don’t know how or why you would want to make a rope out of them.
What are you ranting and raving about? Also why do you think no one is watching Pushing Daisies?
