Heroes S3.E12 Our Father
While I have criticized Heroes in the past about it’s strikingly similarities to the 4400 but this week, Heroes turned another corner as it comes closer and closer to 4400 2. If you have ever seen 4400 you probably already know what I am talking about but Heroes was guilty of stealing three more things from 4400 in last night’s episode alone. First it essentially stole Promicin (the ability formula in the 4400). At least they were considerate enough to change the color from a light green to a red. Second the “ability soldiers” was stolen right from the 4400. Finally Heroes is even resorting to stealing 4400 cast members. 4400 fans should have easily picked up that the soldier that was given the shot was non other than Chad Faust who was a series regular on 4400. Don’t get me wrong, I like Heroes (not so much after season one) but i am honestly sick and tired of it stealing so many story ideas from the 4400. I bet the next thing will be for Heroes to just start stealing 4400 characters. I wouldn’t mind Jordan Collier joining the cast.
Enough of my rant insulting Heroes for their lack of creativity. I have to admit that I am actually liking where the story is going. These last couple of episodes have rebounded things quite a bit. Finally Hiro is not a child anymore (how long will it last though). Sylar is evil again which he always should have been. Arthur was killed (I personally think they should have kept him for a couple more episodes).
So while the show is headed in the right direction, I still have quite a few complaints about the show. Mohinder, Tracy, and Nathan need to be killed off immediately. The first two are pretty explanatory but I think Nathan needs to go as well unless the show actually is going to let him do something other than always being the president in every apocolyptic future.

Chuck S2.E10 Chuck Versus the Delorean
Every Chuck episode is great but there was something missing from last night’s episode. I can’t put my hand on what it is though. The weekly case was pretty good even though I think it could have been funnier. Meanwhile the Guy more was it’s normal self. I thought the Dukes of Hazard car showing up at the end of the episode was hilarious even though i think they could have used a car from a geekier TV show, maybe Knight Rider (the original) for example. NBC could have even got some free promotion for Knight Rider. How in the world did NBC miss such a perfect product placement since they are the product placement kings after all.
One extra thing I need to bring up about the episode is that I’m glad that the show is really delving into Sara and Casey’s characters this season. I wish they would spend some more time on the rest of the cast though. This is why I think the show needs to let one of the rest of the cast find out Chuck’s secret. My choice would be Captain Awesome since I think there could really be some good story ideas there.

The Big Bang Theory S2.E10 The Vartabedian Conundrum
Overall a solid episode of The Big Bang Theory. What I am shocked about though is that the show finally had an episode that didn’t center around Sheldon. I like Sheldon but I think it was getting rediculous how much screen time he was getting. I think the show needs to realize that an episode doesn’t have to feature Sheldon and it can still be a good episode. Sheldon’s more limited role in this week’s episode actually made him funnier.
Meanwhile I don’t mind the Leonard and Stephanie relationship but I personally don’t want it to last much longer. I am guessing her character will get pretty old, pretty fast so I don’t want the show to prolong the relationship too long.

How I Met Your Mother S4.E10 The Fight
Not the greatest episode of How I Met Your Mother but still a pretty solid episode. This week’s episode didn’t have the normal humor (the lightsaber joke at the end of the episode was hilarious though) but it was more of a character driven episode. It also seems that Ted might finally be getting over Stella so that is a good thing since he can continue his search to find his future bride (which I personally hope he finds in the series finale).

Gossip Girl S2.E13 O Brother, Where Bart Thou?
After last night’s funeral episode of Gossip Girl I am really left pondering about whether I liked the episode or not. The reason I don’t know if I liked the episode is that I don’t really know where the show is headed. While Bart’s death could lead to some good storylines for Chuck, they could just as easily ruin the character. I am going to be optomistic and think that Bart’s death will lead to some better storylines for Chuck.
Meanwhile we found out that Lily and Rufus (or we can at least assume) have a child that appears to be out of the picture. Obviously this child will show up since “hidden children” always seem to show up in tvland. Just like with Bart’s death, this could either lead to some good storylines or not. I am going to hold my thoughts till I see what happens.

Prison Break S4.E14 Just Business
I don’t know if it is just me but I think Prison Break is starting to just go around in circles. I have liked this season so far but I am sick of the season just going around in circles. It seems like the show needed to come up with a twist in order to extend the season a couple episodes.
After stealing Scylla it appears that the gang will now have to help the company get it back in order to save Michael’s life. If more episodes were needed in order to extend the season I personally would ahve preferred more time being spent on actully getting Scylla instead of this goose chase in order to get it back. While the show is not for sure cancelled at this time, I hope Prison Break worked towards a series finale in the last couple of episodes this season. Even though this has been a revival season for the show, I think this season needs to be the end for the show. Let the show go out on a high point instead of making the show go on for another season where it is most likely going to take another downturn.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles S2.E12 Alpine Fields
While last night’s episode wasn’t great, I have to admit that I thought it was one of the better episodes of late. I have always liked the future centered episodes since that is what truly seperates the show from other sci-fi dramas.
One thing I am kind of missing from the show though is an overarching storyline. While there is always the storyline of trying to stop Skynet, I wish the show would have had a season long storyline this season. I always like it when dramas have season long storylines because that is usually where the best storylines come from.
