Chuck S2.E9 Chuck Versus the Sensei
Overall this was a pretty average episode of Chuck. Chuck always has great episodes. This week’s episode continued this seasons emphasis of learning more about the supporting characters. This week’s episode we learned more about Casey’s training and how his mentor betrayed him. What I want to know is what is Chuck’s obsession with ex-Alias actors and why they are always villains. This week Carl Lumbly (Marcus Dixon on Alias) was the villain. Overall the case was solid but unspectacular even though it was hilarious when Chuck helped anger Casey by talking about how much he (Casey) loved him (Chuck).
Meanwhile on the home front we got to meet Captain Awesome’s parents. It’s not surprising that they are just like Captain Awesome. We also found out that Chuck’s father is actually alive and Chuck is going to try and find him for Ellie’s wedding. I have a suspicion that he will end up either being a terrorist or part of the government (CIA, FBI) since this is how these type of stories always end.

Heroes S3.E11 The Eclipse Part Two
I have been a pretty big critic of Heroes this season. I have not liked where the show has headed this season especially since Hiro has been literally turned into a bratty little child. While everything hasn’t been fixed yet, I think the show might be headed in the right direction.
First of all Hiro is starting to return to his old self. While he is still a “child” you can tell that the show is on the path to bringing him back to his former self. I also like the addition of Seth Green since I have loved him in everything he has done.
I also am happy that the show appears to finally be cutting down the cast. While I like Kristen Bell, I am actually glad that her character was killed off. Kristen Bell can do much better than Elle since I have never really liked the character.
While there were positives in the episodes the show still has problems. First of all I am sick and tired of people “dying” and then coming back to life. It was obvious that Claire and Sylar weren’t going to die but I think it is rediculous that they keep “dying” and then come back to life. On top of that I hope that at least Mohinder and Tracy meet a deadly fate very soon since both characters are totally worthless and the show really needs to trim down on characters.
While the show appears to be headed in the right direction, the show needs to make quite a few adjustments before it can even come close to the greatness that was season one.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles S2.E11 Self Made Minds
Last night’s episode of Terminator was decent overall. John’s storyline was pretty boring and kind of pointless. On the other hand Cameron’s storyline was actually pretty interesting. While I wish it had more to do with a season long storyline I actually thought it was pretty interesting to see what a Terminator would do if it was sent too far back into the past. I also liked that Cameron was the star of the episode since even though she is a robot, I think she is the more interesting character on the show.

Prison Break S4.E13 Deal or No Deal
After last week’s betrayal by Agent Self, this episode mostly dealt with the aftermath. I actually thought the episode was pretty good even though I hope the show doesn’t drag out the revenge storyline for too long. While I don’t know how many episodes are left (Prison Break has next to no chance of getting another season) I personally hope that their aren’t too many left. I think Prison Break can keep up the revenge storyline for a couple more episodes. I would then add in an episode or two to wrap up the season and then I would like the show to go off on a high point.
This season has actually been a revival of a sort for Prison Break. Even though the season has been a revival the show really needs to end since the show really has nothing else to do after this season.

Gossip Girl S2.E12 It’s A Wonderful Lie
Overall just an average episode of Gossip Girl in my opinion. While it was pretty funny that Chuck and Blair set each other up with people that could almost be their twins, the rest of the episode was actually pretty bad. First of all I could really care less about the Jenny/Vanessa/Nate love triangle. I don’t know why the show can’t just drop this storyline since I don’t think many fans even enjoy the storyline. Meanwhile the Dan and Serena storyline was decent. I hope the show would just decide if they wanted Dan and Serena together. You can already tell that the show is already preparing for another possible hookup. I don’t care which way it goes, I just want the show to make a decision.
