Prison Break S4.E8 The Price

Overall this was a solid episode of Prison Break. One thing I am glad is that Sucre wasn’t killed. I have always liked Sucre and when I heard that some deaths were coming I feared that Sucre would be one of them. Obviously he isn’t going to be one of the deaths since they aren’t going to shoot a character and let him survive, and then kill him a couple episodes later. Likely cannidates for the upcoming death in my opinion come down to three people: Mahone, Bellick, and T-Bag. At this point I could for sure see the show kill off Bellick or T-Bag since neither are really doing anything at the current time. Mahone is also a possibility but I think the show has more that they can do with him.

One thing I don’t really like is that the show is starting to head back down the same road that it has been down too many times already. This time instead of breaking out of prison they will have to break into a corporation. I find it hard to believe that such an evil organization wouldn’t have a bigger security system in order to protect their biggest secret. They also must know that Michael is after them after everything they have done to him. Maybe I am looking at this too closely but I find it unbelievable that they would be able to steal Scylla.

Just to catch up those of you who didn’t see last night’s episode, the gang tries to retrieve the final card from the General. The gang is forced to work with Gretchen and T-Bag (who want Scylla for the money) in order to retrieve Scylla. Gretchen and T-Bag are really being honest with one another since they both have their own plans on how they will keep all the money to themselves. Meanwhile the group has to come up with a new plan to copy the last card since Roland lost the data catcher in Las Vegas. The group decides to ram the General’s car and while he is unconscious steal the last card. This ends up not working since Roland rats out the group to Wyatt in exchange for money. The group gets away safely but Sucre is shot (as mentioned earlier not killed). Roland ends up running for it but the group follows him to a meeting with Wyatt. Wyatt ends up killing Roland but the gang knocks out and captures Wyatt.

What are your thoughts on the episode? Do you like how the Prison Break season is shaping up? Do you want this season to wrap up the show or are you still hoping for another season? Your thoughts are appreciated.
