S1.E14 “The Father and the Son” (1/19/2009): Ricky’s father shows up in town and shows how big of jerk he truly is when he suggests that Ricky sell his baby to a couple. Amy starts thinking about giving the baby up for adoption. Adrian’s father tells her to stay away from Ricky since he doesn’t truly love her. Adrian doesn’t listen to him though. S1.E13 “Baked Nevada” (1/12/2009): Amy and Ben’s parents find out about their “wedding” and inform them that they really aren’t married since their marriage wasn’t legal. Anne gets Amy and Ben to realize that they are really going need to step up and get their lives together if they are going to keep the baby. Anne and George end up getting back together at least “briefly”. Adrian’s father tries to find out who was responsible for all the fake id’s used at the wedding and Jack takes the fall in order to help out another person. Ricky continues dating Grace while he sleeps around with Adrian on the side. Marc Molina returns to the school after getting married. Eric’s Thoughts
S1.E12 “The Secret Wedding of the American Teenager” (1/5/2009): As the title says, Ben and Amy end up getting married. The whole gang shows up for the wedding except for Amy and Ben’s parents. Meanwhile George ends up moving into the garage. Tom gets a “new friend”. Adrian tries to hook up her mother with her father. Finally Grace and Ricky end up going on their first date (the wedding).
