S8.E12 “Bulletproof” (1/22/09): When John Jones is shot (but not killed), Clark goes undercover as a cop since he thinks it is an inside job. Clark uncovers a group of corrupt cops that use their power in order to rule the streets. When the Green Arrow tries to stop them, they try to kill him but one of the cops end up turning on his fellow cops and saves the Green Arrow. Meanwhile Lana meets with Tess and shows her that Lex has been using her to spy on everyone else.
S8.E11 “Legion” (1/15/09): Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad, and Saturn Girl come from the future in order to help Clark save the day. They try to get Clark to kill Chloe to destroy Brainiac for good. Clark refuses to kill her though so they all come up with a plan on removing Brainiac from Chloe for good without killing her. Meanwhile Davis’ transformation into Doomsday is completed.
S8.E10 “Bride” (11/20/08): Oliver discovers that Lex is more than likely alive. He asks Clark to steal a router so he can track Lex’s e-mails. Clark retrieves it but worries that Oliver is out for revenge. He decides not to give him the router but one of Oliver’s employees managed to download what they needed from it anyway. Oliver heads to Cuba and shoots who he thinks is Lex (it turns out to just be a mannequin). Lex knew he was coming. Lana is also there so Oliver invites her to Chloe’s wedding.
Davis tries to call Chloe but she ignores him. He blacked out and when he woke up he found a dead body next to him. His transition to Doomsday is clearly speeding up. Back in Smallville, Chloe and Jimmy get married. Clark and Lois kiss just as Lana returns. As the day turns to night, a mysterious figure attacks the party. Clark tries to fight it but fails. Jimmy tries to stop it but it rips open his chest. The intruder takes Chloe to the Fortress in the Arctic which is now possessed by the essence of Brainiac. At the end of the episode, Lex Luthor, who is attached to tubes and wires, watches video of the wedding.
