Previously On… Gossip Girl

S2.E16 “You’ve Got Yale” (January 19th, 2009): It’s college admission time. While Serena and Dan get into Yale, Blair doesn’t get in. Serena gives up her spot for her but Blair ends up losing it when she pulls a prank on the new teacher (Rachel) that gave her a B on a paper. Lily and Chuck regain control of Bass Enterprises when Lily adopts Chuck and becomes his legal guardian and head of the company. Finally Dan and Serena’s relationship hits some troubles when Lily and Rufus rekindle their relationship. Eric’s Thoughts

S2.E15 “Gone With the Will” (January 12th, 2009): Chuck inherits most of Bass Enterprises and is named the new president of the company. Uncle Jack ends up tricking Chuck into returning to his past ways and Jack replaces Chuck as the president of the company. Dan, Serena, Erik, Jenny, and all the other kids find out about the long lost Rufus and Lily “love child”. Rufus and Lily try to track down the child but the adoptive father tells them that their son died. It turns out that the adoptive father was lying though and it appears that the son is still alive. S2.E14 “In the Realm of the Basses” (January 5th, 2009): After the holiday break, everyone returns home even Chuck who has to be dragged home from Hong Kong by his uncle (who seems to have hooked up with Blair over the break). Chuck continues to go off the deep end until Blair saves him from falling off a building. Meanwhile Serena and Dan get back together (AGAIN) even though that probably isn’t going to last very long since Dan finds out about their shared sibling but doesn’t tell Serena. Rufus and Lily also start looking for the lost sibling. Blair tries to impress a wealthy club but when they start trash talking her friends she bails on them. Finally Jenny returns to school and starts trying to bring down the popular girls from their pedastal. Eric’s Thoughts

S2.E13 “O Brother, Where Bart Thou?” (12/8/2008): With the news of Bart Bass dying, everyone is sent reeling. Serena has to chose between Dan or Aaron. Blair tries to show her true feelings for Chuck even though he isn’t willing to listen. Finally we find out that Lily’s secret is that she had a child with Rufus that she never told Rufus about and ended up giving up for adoption.
