In this episode Earl helps a man named Jerry. Earl, Joy, and Randy stole his RV several years earlier and accidently blew it up. Ever since that day Jerry has wanted to just die. Earl doesn’t know what to do so he starts to replace Jerry’s possessions that he lost when his RV blew up. As Earl replaces more things Jerry becomes more positive about life.
Jerry only has one more thing to replace. Earl takes Jerry to meet an old war buddy (Joe). Jerry tricked Earl to take him to meet Joe in order to cut his other ear off. Jerry had cut the other ear off during the war when Joe abandoned him since he freaked out. Earl tries to warn Joe and finds out that Joe has regretted that decision his whole life. It is too late though since Jerry is hellbent on getting the other ear. We then have a battle of wits between to elderly men (which was pretty funny by the way). When they are eventually ready to attack one another they both have heart attacks. Joe offers his heart medicine to Jerry in order to safe his life. THey both survive and eventually become friends again.
Meanwhile Joy tracks down and catches Pigsquatch (a huge pig that terrorizes the neighborhood). Joy ends up killing it though when she give it too many sleeping pills. Joy and Darnell try to move the body but have no luck since it is so heavy. They eventually get rid of it when Jerry and Joe blow it up.
