Earl and Randy drop by their parent’s house since Carl is selling all their old stuff in a garage sale. While looking through all their old stuffs Earl gets an idea of what item on his list he should do next. When he was younger he ended up scaring the neighbors away who were some of his parent’s only friends. He and Randy saw Clark Clark (their neighbor) cry one day and decided to pull pranks on him in order to keep making him cry. Earl finds Clark and finds out that he actually moved away because he slept with Kay (Earl’s mother).
Earl talks with his mother and she explains that their father was gone so long that she was lonely one night and slept with Clark. The next morning she called the relationship off and Clark moved away. Carl overhears the conversation and is furious. He leaves the house and lives with Earl. Earl convinces Carl to beat up Clark in order to get his revenge. Carl beats him up and then is beat up by Clark’s wife. This doesn’t help Carl so he decides that he needs to sleep with someone else in order to get revenge. He is constantly turned down by women and the only woman who will sleep with him is Patti the hooker.
Carl is so hurt by what happened that he just starts crying. This makes Earl start crying and they end up crying the whole night. The next morning Carl decides to just forgive Kay and he goes back home.
