After three week’s of catchup episodes, the gang is finally back together and some of them even have new identities. While nothing in this week’s episode really surprised me, Lost once again gave us an exciting episode. Once again it seemed like more questions were answered than asked. You can definitely start to tell that Lost is finally starting to wrap things up with only a season and a half left to go.
While I have enjoyed the last three episodes, I have to say that I am glad that the gang is finally all back together. The show was really missing something when everyone got separated. While everyone might not yet be in the same time period (Locke, Ben, Sayid, and Sun might not be stuck back in the Dharma days), it is refreshing that everyone is back on the island.
As far as the episode itself I have to say that it was pretty cool to see the three toe statue in all it’s glory but unlike most Lost fans I have never really understood some people’s fascination with the statue. I am guessing that Darlton just put in the little scene just to please those fans.
Otherwise the rest of the episode dealt with the gang becoming part of Dharma. I have to say that Dharma must not think too highly of the gang since most of them have menial labor type jobs. Miles and Sawyer are security guards and Jin is doing something with land surveying. It’s it just remarkable that Jin can finally speak perfect English. What I find a little strange is that we never really got to see Daniel’s job. While in the first episode of the season we did see him in what appeared to be a construction type role, I have a feeling that is either something more to his job or he is doing something else in his spare time. I am guessing that Lost is trying to hide something about his character and that is why we didn’t get to see him in the “present day”.
The thing I like most about the gang joining Dharma is that we can finally find out more about the Dharma Initiative while also finding out about the “Hostiles”/”Others”. Obviously they didn’t even get along well before Ben showed up on the island (I wonder how many years later that occured). I just wonder what the gang would do if they actually ended up meeting young Ben.
As far as the “Hostiles vs Dharma” disputes I hope Lost gives us some more answers. Hopefully there is something more to it then them just fighting one another based on them getting in each other’s way. I do like that we are also finally able to see the Dharma side of the dispute with the Others. While I always got the impression that Dharma was the bad guys in the dispute, I am starting to think differently. With the Ben vs Charles Widmore and the Dharma vs Others disputes it will be very interesting to find out who is truly the good guys if either side are.
I have a feeling that the two new characters of Horace and Amy will play a pretty big role the next couple of episodes. They focused quite a bit on the characters for them to just turn them into pretty meaningless characters. Plus I know for a fact that Reiko Aylesworth (Amy) will be on the show for at least a couple more episodes. I have a feeling that they might play a big role in the continuing hostilities between the Others and Dharma which leads Ben to wiping out Dharma.
Finally I obviously have to discuss the Juliet-Sawyer-Kate love triangle that appears to be developing. To tell you the truth I hope the show just keeps things as they are. Sawyer seemed happy with Juliet so they should just keep them together. Keep Sawyer with Juliet and Kate with Jack. I think the show needs to stop bringing up the Jack-Sawyer-Kate-Juliet love triangle since to tell you the truth I don’t really care at this point which way it turns out. The storyline has gone on too long in my opinion.
It’s sad that there is no new Lost episode next week. I think I might go through Lost withdrawl having to wait two weeks for a new episode. Well at least this first half of the season has been great in my opinion. Just imagine though that there are only 24 more episodes of Lost remaining. We are truly starting to come down to the end of the best television show of all time.
Your Take: What was your thoughts on this week’s episode? Do you think we will finally start getting more answers about Dharma? Do you think Sawyer should pick Juliet or Kate? What are you going to do to survive next week without a new episode of Lost?

This is effortlessly one of the most interesting reads I have discovered. Time and time once again, Canon has proved the business wrong, showing the planet that their cameras are high quality. When I do not agree with every little thing you mentioned here, you do have a pretty very good point.
There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game.
