Salman has always had a hard time keeping a job so when he is given the job of being the mascot for a dying company he needs to stick with it despite hating the job.
Looking at the cover you would expect that this movie must be a comedy. Combine that with the fact that the case keeps saying it is a comedy you would expect this to be a comedy. I have to say this is either a terrible comedy or it isn’t a comedy at all. I don’t know if I even laughed once during the whole movie. If this was a comedy you would expect it to at least be funny. That is not the case here.
If you look at this movie as a comedy you are bound to be disappointed since unless you have a totally different sense of humor than me you probably won’t laugh at this movie very much.
So the movie fails at a being a comedy. You would think that this movie would be terrible then. It actually has a redeeming quality. It is actually not a terrible drama. The movie is mostly about the troubles military families deal with. It also deals some of the economic issues everyone is facing today. If you like these type of movies you might actually enjoy Kabluey. If these type of movies don’t interest you, you won’t get anything out of this movie.
Before I wrap up this review I will quickly address the special features. The only special feature is some deleted scenes. While none of them are that great in my opinion, you do get 25 of them so you do get a high quantity even though the quality isn’t that great in my opinion.
Overall Kabluey is far from a good comedy. If you are expecting this to be a funny comedy you will be disappointed. At least the movie has some redeeming characteristics as a drama. If you are a fan of dramas addressing current issues you might like Kabluey but other I would tell you to pass on this movie.
