I don’t know if it is just me but Greek has been having some slow episodes lately. The reason I started watching the show was that it had humor dispersed throughout the episodes. Very few dramas in my opinion can be totally serious and successful. Most successful dramas have at least some humor. Greek had quite a bit of humor in the first season and the begining of the second season. I don’t know where the humor has gone recently. While this episode probably wasn’t meant to be humorous I think it could have used some humor. Hopefully the humor will return soon since this episode showed that Greek needs to keep the humor.
For a quick recap of the episode for those of you who missed the episode, here are the things you need to know from this episode:
- Since it is spring formal week the ZBZ house obviously holds their own formal. Casey and Frannie keep fighting for votes for the upcomming election. Max doesn’t really enjoy himself since he feels that Casey is ashamed of him. Casey eventually tells him that she doesn’t care what other people think about him.
- Rusty wants to go to a spring formal since he missed his own prom. Ashleigh ends up taking him since he can’t get a date. At the formal Evan makes fun of him since he thinks he is only a pity date. Ashleigh kisses Rusty in order to shock Evan and get him to leave Rusty alone. Obviously the relationship doesn’t go anywhere but Ashleigh tells Rusty that he will make some girl really happy.
- Cappie and Rebeca end up resurrecting their relationship. Everything is going fine until Rebeca realizes that Cappie is still not over Casey. They decide that they can’t be anything more than friends and that is even in question
