I was overall pretty happy with this episode of Greek. I was glad that the show finally got back to some of it’s wacky routes. I personally really like Rusty’s storyline. I guess I have always liked Rusty the most since he is the closest to me in real life. I thought this week’s story was reall well put together and how can you not like the prank type episodes. Rebeca, Casey and Ashleigh’s story were also solid though unspectacular in my opinion. Let’s head to the recap for those of you who missed the episode.
Rusty is having trouble with his classes. He has ost all his motivation for polymer science and is bored in all his classes. He ends up skipping his classes and hanging out at the fraternity house. Rusty tells Dale about his problems and Dale tries to talk him out of quiting but Rusty is really thinking about dropping the program. Cappie tells Rusty that if he isn’t interested in polymer science anymore he should just get a new major. Rusty seriously considers quiting the program until the Senior Stockade comes up. In this tradition the seniors create barriers for the freshman to get through in order to get into their rooms. If they get into their rooms they get a reward. Rusty ends up trying to break down the RA’s barrier (which involves a lot of polymer science). While Rusty doesn’t get through the barrier in time he realizes that polymer science is the right major for him.
Meanwhile Casey and Ashleigh’s relationship is tested when the “Hotness Monster” (Drew) shows up on campus. They both are attracted to him and both want to invite him to the ZBZ Crush Party. They decides to let Drew pick which of them he likes. At first they are civil but things get out of hand when they try to knock the other down in order to make themselves look better in front of Drew. Ashleigh ends up losing the competition since Drew doesn’t even remember her from spring break. Casey and Drew enjoy the rest of the night but Casey ends up dumping him since she wouldn’t betray Ashleigh by going out with the guy she was so attracted to. Casey also ends up telling Frannie that sh will never be her friend again since she picked Evan over her.
Finally Rebeca is sick of everyone starring at her. Cappie comes up with an idea on how to use her fame. They use it to get a bunch of perks like better parking spots. This doesn’t help when Rebeca isn’t able to get any drinks since everyone knows she is underage. Things get even worse when she finds out that her parents are getting a divorce.
