Chuck and the Will: A month has passed since Bart passed away and it is finally time for his will to be read. In what doesn’t come as much of a surprise, Chuck ends up getting almost everything (with Lily getting a percentage of the company as well). Chuck doesn’t believe that Bart actually believed in him enough to hand over his company to him but Chuck decides to take control of Bass Enterprises. This doesn’t please Uncle Jack though and he ends up setting Chuck up so he looks like his past self so he loses control over Bass Enterprises. Uncle Jack ends up taking control of the company.

What I don’t understand is what was Jack really expecting? Did he really think that Bart wouldn’t give most of his fortune to his son and let him take over the company. While Chuck is a little young to run a company, you had to assume that Bart would eventually want his son running the company. Well I doubt this is the last we have seen of this storyline. I am betting that Chuck is going to fight his way back in order to become president again.

The Humphries and the Van Der Woodson’s: What shouldn’t have come as much of a surprise, the facts of Lily and Rufus’ love child get out when the news gets put up on Gossip Girl. I am guessing this spells the ending to Dan and Serena once again. While I wouldn’t mind if the relationship continues I hope the show really makes a decision this time. Keep them together or break them up and keep them as friends. I honestly don’t care as long as the show finally makes a decision. Rufus and Lily also meet with the adoption parents of their child and the adoptive father ends up lying straight to their faces and pretends that their son is dead. Unless I am taking things way out of context, their son isn’t dead. I bet he will end up showing up in town sooner rather than later.

Quotes:

Chuck: “If I don’t read it do I still get my inheritance?”

Blair: “It’s so hard to find obediant minions.”

Erik: “It sounds like it has Grandma all over it.”

Your Thoughts: What were your thoughts on the episode? Do you like the idea of Chuck having to fight to regain control of Bass Enterprises? Do you think Dan and Serena’s relationship can survive despite sharing a sibling? Do you even want it to survive? Are you excited to see Dan and Serena’s sibling?
