When I read about the plot for this episode I didn’t think the episode would be very good. I was actually pretty surprised by the episode. If you looked hard enough this episode was chock full of movie and television references. You could also tell that the writers of Family Guy are definently not republicans since they essentially called the Republican party a bunch of Nazi’s.
Mort, Brian, and Stewie end up being teleported back into WW2 Poland. Mort is able to see his grandparent’s wedding but the Nazi’s invade soon after. They try to teleport back to the present but Stewie’s return device is out of uranium. They end up having to go on the run which involves references to many movie classics like Back to the Future and Indiana Jones. Brian, Stewie and Mort end up joining the British air force as they make their way to Berlin in order to get some uranium. They sneak into a uranium facility and get some uranium for Mean Joe Green. They run into Hitler but transport back to the present. In order to put the whole thing behind them, Stewie destroys the time machine and the Mort that went back in time.
