Overall I found this to be a solid but unspectacular episode of Family Guy. The story was decent but what the episode was really missing was the completely off the wall humor present in most episodes. What I really like about Family Guy is the complete randomness of some of Peter’s dream sequences. Since they were missing for the most part. This episode lacked the really funny moments that Family Guy is usually known for.
In this episode Brian is sick of all of his girlfriends being crazy. Brian meets the perfect girl (Caroline) for him at the bookstore. They share pretty much all the same interests. They go on a date and Brian is about to spend the night at her apartment when Stewie convinces him not to sleep with her. Brian realizes that the problem with all his relationships might be that he sleeps with them too early.
Caroline keeps sending signal that she wants to sleep with Brian. Brian eventually decides to sleep with her. When he goes over to her house he catches her and Cleveland doing it in her car. Brian is upset and tries to get away from both of them but wherever he goes he sees them together.
Brian eventually decides to try and get Cleveland back together with Loretta so he can have Caroline for himself. Brian talks with Loretta and convinces her to try and beg Cleveland to take her back. When Loretta meets Cleveland he doesn’t know what to think. Peter and Lois are suspicious of Loretta so they have Quagmire see if Loretta is going to be loyal to Cleveland this time around. Loretta stays loyal to Cleveland but Cleveland tells her that he just can’t love her anymore since he loves Caroline. Cleveland drops by Caroline’s house and is about to propose to her when he sees her sleeping with Quagmire. Brian and Cleveland then talk about how they both were cheated on by Caroline.
