Fall 2008 TV Preview-Fringe

J.J. Abrams (The creator of Alias, and Lost) comes the television show named Fringe. A bunch of strange occurrences are happening all around the country. FBI Special Agent Olivia Dunham runs into one of these occurrences when she investigates a plane crash. Her partner Special Agent John Scott is almost killed in the investigation, so Olivia decides that she needs to seek out some more help to investigate these strange occurrences. She ends up recruiting Dr. Walter Bishop and his estranged son Peter to help them investigations. Joined by FBI Agents Phillip Broyles, Charlie Francis, and Astrid Farnsworth. As they try to figure out what is going on around them, they encounter Nina Sharp who tries to interrupt their investigations. Will the truth behind these strange occurances ever be discovered?

Fringe is one of, if not, the most anticipated news shows of the upcoming television season. With J.J. Abrams leading the project, the chances for success are highly likely since J.J. Abrams has only had one failure (What About Brian). With shows like Lost and Alias you can tell that J.J. Abrams now how to address the sci-fi genre.

My Thoughts

I think Fringe will be one of if not the best show of the 2008 season (Dollhouse is it’s main competition for the spot in my opinion). From the previews, Fringe looks like a great Sci-Fi thriller that should entertain anyone who likes Sci-Fi and probably everyone who likes dramas. I think with some time to grow Fringe could be one of the best shows on TV. I would be shocked it Fringe isn’t a great show. I just can’t wait until I can finally see the pilot. I know I can’t wait. Can You? Feel free to leave your thoughts on Fringe in the comment section of this post. Also if you find any more videos, news or reviews on the show feel free to leave a comment with a link to it so I can update this page and give you credit for your find.
