The Hitchhiker
As Criss is heading into New Orleans he finds a hitchhiker on the road. He thinks he is being set up since he doesn’t think such a beautiful woman would be hitchhiking on the road. It is pretty obvious that this whole scene was staged because how else would you explain the fact that there is a camera outside the care before Criss even stops the limo. Criss agrees to take the woman to New Orleans. Criss walks back to the limo (getting in the camera’s way so we can’t see the woman). When Criss turns around the woman is gone. She is actually already in the limo.
The Voodo Store
Criss heads into one of the most famous voodo stores in New Orleans. Criss rusn into a woman and tells her that he can get inside her head. The woman doesn’t believe him (she claims she doesn’t know who he is). Criss has the woman pick any book from the store. Then she needs to pick a page form the book. Finally she needs to pick a word from that page. Criss then proceeds to write the word that the woman picked (fiction) on her arm. I am assuming that Criss did this trick like he does all his mindreading tricks. One thing I found suspicious was how Criss closed his eyes while the woman picked out the word. For some reason he had to place one finger over his eye. I doubt this was anything but it did stand out to me.
Ring in Salt Shaker
Criss is eating at a restaurant when all the customers start nagging him for a trick. Criss gets a couple pieces of jewelry from the customers. He then has one of the customers pick one of the items (a ring). Criss does his normal magic with his hands and the ring disappears. A shockwave then goes through the table knocking several things over including a salt shaker. Criss opens up the salt shaker and the ring is inside.
The Yarn Ball
Criss meets some people in a coffee shop and he tells them about a trick that he used to do for his grandmother. He gathers a coffee cup, a napkin, and a yarn ball his mother gave him. He puts the yarn in the coffee cup (upside down on top of the napkin). When Criss removes the cup the ball is gone and it turns out to be in Criss’ pocket. He does the same thing again and this time a fruit appears in the cup instead of the yarn ball. Criss does the trick two more times. The first time he produces a bunch of coffee beans. In the second he turns one coffee bean into a cup of hot coffee.
The Trash Can Escape
Criss decides to once again perform a trick again for his audience. Back in season one Criss was put into a trash can and magically appeared one story above where he had previously been. This time will be harder though since everyone know what is going to happen. Criss gets into the trash can and communicates with the people holding the lid through a walkie talkie. He keeps telling the people to keep pressure on the trash can. After a minute or so Criss turns up on a second story balcony. I don’t know how he exactly did the trick but the fact that he had to use a walkie talkie sticks out to me. He could have easily yelled in the trash can and everyone would have been able to hear him. He for some reason chose a walkie talkie though.
