Cutting off a Man’s Hand
Before getting to the nailgun illusion (more on that later) Criss invites some people into his warehouse in order to see the nailgun illusion. He lets his fans ask some questions and one man asks if Criss can cut him in half. Criss decides to grant his wish (at least somewhat). Criss hypnotises the man since he claims he will pass out otherwise. Criss has one of his assistants hold the man’s wrist when Criss puts a piece of paper over the man’s arm. Criss then gets out a portable saw and ends up cutting the man’s arm off. Blood comes out (pretty disgusting in my opinion) and Criss has the man do thing with his hands to prove that it is working. Criss then walks off with the man and we never get to see him put the hand back on (I am guessing that would have ruined the trick since it would have revealed what they did).
Magical Football
Criss Angel decides to play some football in the park. He makes some girls come out of thin air (like he seems to always do). They play football for a while until Criss gets upset with one of his crew members since he can’t throw the football at all. Criss decides to show him what to do. Criss proceeds to making the football float in the air and then fly towards the crew member.
Catching a Nail from a Nailgun
In season one Criss caught an arrow shot out of a bow. Criss decides to raise the bar and actually catch a nail shot out of nailgun (it can travel 400 yards in 1 second). For the stunt Criss puts a pane of glass between himself and the nailgun. This is done to slow down the nail, the fans can see the nails trajectory and it will make the nail turn so his hand will face the flat end of the nail. The illusion doesn’t go as planned though since when the nail hits the glass it breaks off a piece which hits Criss in the face which essentially ruins his concentration. The nail actually goes through Criss’ hand. This obviously wasn’t supposed to happen since Criss is rushed off to the hospital in the ambulance. What I don’t understand is through al lthe practice runs they didn’t realize that the glass could break and hit him. Criss is hurt but he obviously survives and is ok since he did the live show which was obviously taped after this show.
What did you think about the episode or do you have an idea on how Criss performed his illusions? Feel free to leave a comment since I always appreciate reader feedback.

I’m going to comment about the Nail Gun stunt.
At first, like the “4:00 Minutes” building, I thought that he will succeed because after all, he does things which are way much more worse than Jackie Chan. However, he failed.
I felt disappointed but I felt much more concerned than disappointed because Criss Angel is the best and bravest performer I’ve ever seen, be it live or not and also the fact that he puts his life at stake and I never ever dare to put my life at stake unless it is really a desperate situation for me, which there never has been any until now.
Like many other famous people I know, Criss Angel will always have my respect. I think someone like him should go into the Guinness Book of World Records or Ripley’s Believe It or Not.
