Note: We are testing out a new way of recapping episodes this week. Since most people just watch the episode online if they missed it on TV, recaps are no longer as important. We think longer reviews containing just the most important information would be a better way to go. Do you agree? How do you think we could improve these episode reviews?
Since the intersect was destroyed in the last episode Chuck resumes his job as the intersect. The government finds a former KGB agent (Sasha) that might have the real cipher. The team ends up finding an old agent named Agent Montgommery since he has a lot of knowledge on Sasha. Montgommery isn’t the agent he used to be though since he is now a drunk and a womanizer.
When they actually get him sober he helps Chuck with his seduction techniques in order to get him invited back to her hotel room. Chuck has trouble seducing her but eventually ends up in her hotel room. Chuck is quickly found out to be a mole but he escapes with the cipher out the hotel window. Sara and Casey are captured in the mission though. Chuck and Montgommery eventually free them at a hostage exchange and Chuck shows off his bravery. Before Montgommery rides off into the sunset he tells Chuck that Sara is interested in him and he should pursue her. When Chuck shows up at her house though, he sees Bryce Larkin in Sara’s house.
Meanwhile in Chuckville the Buy More employees rebel against Lester. Captain Awesome also gets help from the government in order to plan a romantic evening for Ellie.
Another great episode of Chuck. Too bad no one bothered to watch it. It was just hilarious to see Chuck and his seducing techniques. It’s also good that the show is at least entertaining the idea of the Chuck/Sara relationship. I guess it doesn’t really matter though since the show most likely won’t get another season. I also really liked Agent Montgommery. John Larroquette should be nominated for best guest star in my opinion. Hopefully his character will make another appearance on the show since I think he could make for a pretty good recurring character.
Back to the fact that no one watched the episode. I don’t know why America essentially refuses to watch good quality television. NBC is an idiot for putting Chuck on Mondays since there is already so much competition in that slot, but America is being a bigger idiot. Unless you absolutely hate anything that isn’t a reality show or a gameshow I have no idea why you wouldn’t like Chuck. Chuck has everything from action, character drama, humor and even some romance. It has essentially every type of genre and yet no one watches it. Unless NBC moves it to another day (Wednesday anyone?) or people start watching the show, Chuck won’t get another season. Too many good shows are cancelled every year. America let’s at least save this show.

Chuck: “I’m going to be the intersect forever.”
Chuck: “Apparently not since it lasted only 12 seconds.”
Captain Awesome: “That furry little bastard (Morgan).”

Nice one! If I could write like this I would be well happpy. The more I see articles of such quality as this (which is rare), the more I think there could be a future for the Net. Keep it up, as it were.
