Brothers and Sisters S3.E3 Tug of War (October 12th, 2008)

tug of war 300x168 Brothers and Sisters S3.E3 Tug of War (October 12th, 2008)

I overall thought this was a pretty average episode of Brothers and Sisters. None of the storylines were bad but they all lacked at least some humor. I guess this was one of the regular serious episodes. I personally have never been a big fan of these types of episodes. I honestly think the Walker family is one of the most disfunctional and also depressing families. I personally think the show should at least have one funny or at least happy storyline each episode.

Another thing that is strange to me is that the show rarely gives Nora her own storylines anymore. Pretty much all her material comes from her children’s stories. I really think the show needs to start giving her some stories that don’t deal with her children. I think it is pretty sad that at this point essentially everything that happens with Nora is only the result of her children. Why can’t the writers let her actually start living her own life and do some things without her children. Maybe it is just me but I think this is something that should be addressed.

So what are your thoughts on this week’s episode and the third season of Brothers and Sisters in general? Are you liking where the season is going or do you think the show needs to change course? Express your thoughts in the comment section.
