This week there are 5 storylines. First Roland’s mother comes to town to help with the baby. Roland has always had troubles with his mother since she has always wanted him to do something with his degree. Roland and his mother eventually at least work through some of their problems and she helps him learn how to stop his daughter from crying. Meanwhile Denise decides to liberate herself and end up opening her own checking account and getting a tattoo. Chase returns home and Pamela decides to finally stop being afraid and start living after her stalker was arrested. CJ and the new army wife (Jennifer) start a power struggle to have control over the FRG. Finally Trevor begins rehab. Eventually Roxie realizes that she needs to talk to a counselor after she is so stressed out with all the work she has to do around the house while Trevor is at his meetings.
Overall a pretty average episode of Army Wives. I don’t know if it is just me but I think Army Wives has hit a rough patch. The last couple of episodes have been kind of bland in my opinion. The show is probably just in a rut but hopefully the show will begin picking up again. One thing the show could do for is some more humor. Almost any character drama can quickly be improved just by adding some humor. Army Wives really hasn’t had any humor for quite a while and I think that is one of the reasons that the show has hit a slow point.
