America’s Got Talent: June 24th, 2009 Auditions

americasgottalent Americas Got Talent: June 24th, 2009 Auditions

Overall the second episode of the fourth season of America’s Got Talent was rich with good act but lacked standout performances that made your jaw drop. That is not necessarily a bad thing but at this point none of tonight’s acts scream finale act. With some work I think several of the acts could get to that point but I think some work needs to be done. Without further ado, let’s get down to last night’s performances.
Manuela Horn (Singer)-I thought I would never see a yodeling dominatrix but I guess that was never meant to be. I honestly don’t get the outfit. She was a good yodeler but I think she needs to drop the dominatrix gimic for the next round. C+     Moved On

Also moving on: The Comic Bots (dancing and music playing robots), Tom Durnin (magician/dancer),  and G-Force (young girl rock group).

Rafael Serrano: (Singer)-I should have known things weren’t going to be good when he went on stage without shoes on. His singing was bad but I have to admit that his splits were impressive. D     Sent Home

Eric and Rickie (8 Year Old Dancers)-They are quite talented for their age. They both deserved to move onto Vegas. B+    Moved On

Jennifer Guadix (Wierd Act)-Some terrible dancing and a woman in a suitcase. I was totally in agreement with the audiences booing. Besides the one woman stuffing herself into a suitcase, I really didn’t see any talent in the performance.  F     Sent Home

Drew Thomas (Magician)-A pretty good magician. I have personally seen better magicians though. He deserved to move especially since you can never tell what magicians will bring each round to the show. A-    Moved On

Alisma (Singers and Violin Players)-First they need to learn to talk once at a time. Second they need to drop the singing. Then if they just stick with the violin playing they have a pretty good act. B    Moved On

Jennifer James (Dancer)-The outfit is ridiculous in my opinion. Her dancing wasn’t any better. Thankfully the three x’s came quickly.  D    Sent Home

Arcadian Broad (Young Dancer)-A pretty good dancer. I don’t think he has what it takes to make the finals though since I think you have to be one of the best dancers in the world to win America’s Got Talent. B    Moved On
