Another underwhelming episode of America’s Got Talent in my opinion. Unless the editors have just decided to try and hide all the unique acts until future rounds of the show, I am not holding out much hope for any act that doesn’t involve singing or dancing. As a matter of fact at this point I believe close to 95% of acts that have been moved on are either singing or dancing acts. Either America doesn’t really have any other talent or America’s Got Talent is a poor representation of talent in America. Hopefully things will change in future episodes but I am not getting my hopes up.
Nate Watkins “Nasty Nate” (Singer)-Like no one couldn’t tell that his singing was going to be poor at best. Either Sharon tries to be too nice or she is seriously tone deaf for not almost immediatly x’ing him. He should have been x’ed off the stage within seconds. F Not Moved On
Other acts not move on: Zahid Khan (One Man Instrument), Lelan Faulkner (Paper Mime), and Iota Arcane (”World’s Fastest Poet”).
Footworks Fitness (Fitness Clogging)-An extremely boring act. It might give you a good workout but that is it. D Not Moved On
Other acts not moved on: Scott Weider (Kite Flier), Circus Runaways (Wierd Dance Group), Trixie and the Monkey (Burlesque Duo), and K-Dizzle (Terrible Stripping Rapper).
Terri Wilson (Singer): I thought America’s Got Talent was going to give us another Susan Boyle but Terri Wilson was far from even average. Suzan Boyle she is not. D Not Moved On
BRI (Singer): She was not a bad singer at all but as I have mentioned time and time again on this show, there needs to be a limit on singers. If around 50 singers get moved on every season, all the singers can’t be as amazing as the judges think they are. B- Moved On
TJ and the Little Mamas (Child Dance Group): I know people are already going to insult me for saying this but I honestly don’t think they deserved to move on. For their age they have some talent but I think age plays way too large of factor into people’s decisions on this show. I felt there are several more entertaining acts than this group so I felt the act didn’t deserve to move onto Las Vegas. I base my decisions almost entirely based on pure talent. If a child’s act is almost as good as an adult act I will give the child group the nod but that wasn’t the case with this group in my opinion. C Moved On
Other acts moved on: Miss Germany (Fire Eater), Janice Martin (Aerial Performer), The Scott Brothers (Cartoon Style Popping Act), and Iconic Crew (Dance Group).
Monsieur Pedicure (Toe Dancer): I am getting sick of singers and dancers on this show but I honestly have to say that no matter how good or bad they are, his act was worse. Total waste of time. F Not Moved On (PS Mondieur Pedicure, I want the 1-2 minutes of my life back I wasted seeing your act.)
Mario and Jenny Ferrera (Danger Act): I have to admit that this group isn’t afraid of danger. The problem I always have with these groups is that they never have any lasting potential. They have one or two good stunts and then they fall apart. They deserve to move on but I am going to wait and see about lasting potential. B Moved On
Lawrence Beaman (Singer)-He’s a good singer but there is a second component to be a good act on this show in my opinion. You have to be talented and entertaining. He is talented. Very talented. I didn’t find him entertaining though. His genre of music isn’t my type so that is probably the main reason but for me to root for an act I have to be entertained and I wasn’t. He deserved to move onto Vegas because of his talent. Talent: A- Entertainment: C- Moved On
