300 is a highly regarded film by quite a few people. For fans of the film this Complete Experience is hoping to give fans everything that they could hope for regarding the film. I don’t know how complete of experience it truly is though.
I am not going to get into the story of 300 since I wouldn’t really recommend The Comple Experience to anyone that wasn’t a fan of the original film. It would be much cheaper to check out the film in it’s original release format. Besides additional special features there isn’t anything different between the Complete Experience and other releases of the film so you might as well check out the film in a cheaper version.
As far as the film itself I am not a huge fan. It wasn’t a bad movie but I personally thought the film was overrated. The film had its moments but it also could have been better. I do give the film credit for its look since 300 is a very stylized film. By the way the film looks very good in Blu-Ray.
Since the main reason to buy this Blu-Ray collection in the first place is the special features, I will get into what you can expect in this collection.

There are quite a few special features in this Blu-Ray collection. First I commend the fact that all the special features are in HD. That doesn’t happen as often as it should. The special features overall are pretty good and fans should enjoy them. One complaint though is that the special features are kind of short for a special collector’s edition. For the extra cash that you have to shell out for this collector’s edition I think you should receive more bang for your buck.
If you have never watched 300 before or didn’t like it, I would obviously recommend that you don’t pick up 300 The Complete Experience. 300 The Complete Experience is a must buy though for fans of the series that would like all the special features they can get their hands on. If special features aren’t that important to you, you should be fine with the original 300 release.
