What’s It About?: Howie Mandel meets hidden camera comedy show. In each episode, Mandel (sometimes as himself, other times incognito) will take to the streets and pull pranks on unsuspecting Americans.

Why Should I Watch It?:
- Even though I think “Deal or No Deal” is almost as boring as watching paint dry, Howie Mandel has always been one of the bright spots. He’s a very funny comedian and I’m guessing he will be perfect for this show.
- I have a feeling that “Howie Do It” will quickly become a hit. Even though it airs on Fridays, I think Mandel has established himself as a good source of family entertainment. With “Deal or No Deal” on the way out, this show could easily become its replacement.
Why Should I Skip It?:
- The clips I watched were below average at best. The gags weren’t all that funny and whoever is in charge of making Mandel incognito should be fired. Even with fake hair, a hat, or glasses, he is very easy to recognize. His recognizable voice doesn’t help either. I’d be shocked if most of the marks didn’t recognize him right away.
Conclusion: I usually enjoy prank shows so I’ll definitely give “Howie Do It” at least one episode to improve on the clips I saw. I have a feeling it will and I also expect it to be a surprise hit for NBC.
