arresteddevelopment-276x300 Arrested Development Movie Basically a Done Deal

Over the past two days, various outlets have been reporting details about the upcoming “Arrested Development.” While it isn’t technically official yet, producers Mitch Hurwitz and Ron Howard have signed on and E!’s Kristin Dos Santos reported that the movie is budgeted at $15 million. Unfortunately, there is a holdout (I’m assuming it’s Michael Cera aka George Michael) but the movie will be made whether or not the holdout signs on. All of the other cast members have signed on.

I am so excited that this movie will finally see the light of day. I just have a feeling that the movie will be a huge success and finally make the franchise a hit. It’s too bad it couldn’t have happened when “Arrested Development” was still on TV but a series of movies would be almost as good.
