I have always been a big fan of Scrubs and have seen every episode of the show. Next year the final season will air on ABC so this would seem like the perfect time to get caught up on last season. Even though I am a big fan of Scrubs I would have to say that the seventh season was kind of disappointing.

Why was the seventh season disappointing? The problem with the seventh season in my opinion was that there really weren’t any stand out episodes. The season was good but really didn’t have any great episodes like most of the other seasons. This was mostly due to the show being on it’s last legs. Afterall there has been 150 episodes. Shows eventually run out of ideas and Scrubs is starting to run out of ideas.

Even though I thought the season was disappointing, that doesn’t mean that it’s not worth watching the seventh season. Despite being on the air for seven seasons, I still think Scrubs is one of the best comedies on television. One thing that does need to be brought up though is that the season is only 12 episodes long due to the writer’s strike. So if you thought the price for this dvd set were low that is why.

For those of you interested in special features, here is the details on special features of Scrubs Season Seven.

  • Making of “My Princess”-A 15-20 look behind the scenes of the making of “My Princess”. While I thought the episode could have been better I thought this special features was pretty entertaining especially since it was a good look behind the scenes of the show.
  • One-on-One with Ken Jenkins-An interview with Ken Jenkins (Dr. Kelso). Overall an average special feature that looks and Ken Jenkins and his character of Dr. Kelso.
  • Deleted Scenes-Your typical deleted scenes.
  • Bloopers-Your typical Scrubs blooper reel.
  • Audio Commentaries-Your typical audio commentaries.

While the seventh season wasn’t the greatest in Scrubs history, it was still a pretty good season for a comedy. If you enjoy Scrubs you should enjoy the seventh season dvd set even though the season is only 12 episodes long. Unless you don’t like Scrubs, I would recommend that you pick up the seventh season of Scrubs.
