To celebrate George W. Bush leaving office in a couple of months, Comedy Central has decided to put out another compilation disc to salute him. Unlike summer’s drug-themed compilation disc, this one is focused on making fun of our incompetent President, a theme I actually find funny.

Included in the set are episodes from “South Park,” “Lil’ Bush,” “That’s My Bush!,” and “Lewis Black’s Root of All Evil.” The “South Park” episode is of course funny and the “Lil’ Bush” one is okay. I had never seen “That’s My Bush!” before but I loved the episode included on this set. For those who don’t know, the series is a sitcom (complete with laugh track and catchphrases) centered around the Bush family. All four episodes are good but they also have already been released or likely will be in the future.

The segments are also pretty funny and other than the “Mind of Mencia” one, none have been released on other sets (and likely never will be). These are all pretty short though so I wouldn’t go out and buy it just for these.

Like all compilation discs, “Comedy Central Salutes George W. Bush” is good for a specific audience (in this case Bush haters) and as a sample disc before you go out and commit to a full season of a show. If you fit into either of those two categories, it is definitely worth $10.99. If you already have the season sets of some or all of these shows or you just don’t think making fun of Bush is funny, don’t bother with this DVD.
