thecleaner The Cleaner: House of Pain (September 2nd, 2008) Another completely average episode of The Cleaner in my opinion. One thing I do have to bring up about the show is the fact that this show is going to get old really early if it doesn’t try anything new. The show has even brought up the fact that William’s company deals with many other addictions including gambling and alcohol. I don’t know why you bring up those possibilities and don’t even use any of them. The Cleaner really needs to diversify and do other addictions or this show will become old very fast in my opinion.

In this episode William heads to a school where a young girl recently died of a drug overdose. William was called in by a former friend (the principal of the school) to watch one of the school’s students (Brian). William introduces himself to all the kids as a drug counselor. William tells his gang that Brian’s parents have divorced and that Brian is now living with his father. William and the gang’s plan is to convince Brian’s father that his son needs to be put in rehab since they can’t grab him without his father’s permission since he is a minor.

William tries to talk some sense into his father (Tom) but Tom denies that his son is addicted to drugs. Tom thinks that William is a basketball scout that is trying to find fault with his son in order to run his son’s basketball future. The words at least get Tom thinking about the possibility since he tries to talk to Brian about drugs but he refuses to listen.

William and his gang then proceed to get Brian’s drugs so they can show them to Tom. At school they alert all the kids that they are holding a random drug search of the students. This makes Brian panic and throw his drugs out. They retrieve the drugs and notice that he has a bunch of drugs that are used to help addicts between fixes. William shows all these drugs to Tom but he still denies that his son is a drug addict.

Meanwhile Brian robs his blind grandmother in order to get the money for another fix. Brian then heads to a drug hideout and proceeds to shoot up. One of Swinton’s contacts find him at the drug hideout and William picks him up. He brings him back to his home and ties him down to the bed. He is going to help him through detox but Tom refuses to let William go through it. Tom releases Brian. Brian and Tom then get into a fight and we find out tat Brian’s mother killed herself with drugs and that Brian blames Tom for it since he left her. Brian actually tries killing himself as well with drugs but William resessitates him. Brian is taken to rehab where he gets the help he needs. For his help the principal agrees to let Lula into her school (it is a prestigious private school). After finishing this case William realizes how he has been towards Ben. Willliam apologizes to Ben and it seems like he is finally ready to return home.
